Haaheim Gaard lies high and free at 170 m above sea level, on fine days it is said that you can see if the boathouse doors on Shetland are open.

We have a cultural garden with a chapel, garden house and 1,500 meters of garden paths that wind between small garden rooms with benches and flower beds.

The hotel currently has 23 rooms, where the suites are from 35-45 m2 with their own sauna. The rooms are furnished in a historical style, most with reconstructed historical tapestries from Swedish and Norwegian manors and castles. We have several different rooms for parties; The dining room and the concert hall have space for 70 and 80 in guest booths.

We also have the Wine Cellar and the Malenesalong, which are smaller function rooms for small private parties, with space for 12 guests.

We have cultural events throughout the year with concerts/opera, theatre/revue, lectures, wine/beer tastings, chef's dinners and large local food dinners. Haaheim is very useful for courses and conferences, for celebrating big days and for romantic stays for those you love.

HAAHEIM CHOCOLATE

Handmade puffed and filled confectionery

In 2021, Haaheim Gaard will open his own chocolate factory in our trading town, EH Vaage.

There we hand dip our confections and fill them with great flavors from natural ingredients. At Christmas, we sell candy boxes as gifts to both individuals and businesses

For several years, I, Torstein, have been collecting old furniture and objects.

I have taken a particular interest in Knagmøbler and in the autumn brought home some good furniture for Haaheim. Møbelskarfirmaet Chr. Knag AS was established by Christopher Severin Knag in 1879 and continued by his son Alf Knag. The company supplied furniture to the citizens of Bergen for almost a hundred years before it was closed down in 1975. Today, Knagmøbler is seen as a family heirloom and collector's item. And we collect and take care of it!

We also have a house tour with a tour and storytelling about everything we collect and take care of.

Chefs Dinner is among Norway's biggest zealots for local food and drink. We hold Chefs Dinner events at selected locations in Norway with tasting menus based on local ingredients, local drinks, humor and creative cooking.

Welcome to trade.

Down in Uggdalseidet, we have started a museum of the old bakery. We sell locally produced farm products, freshly baked bread and Haaheim's own confectionery chocolate, Haaheim Sjokolade.

In the summer, we have a gastropub, and here you can book private parties for your group. EH Vaage is open at weekends in high season and by appointment all year round.

Gamleposten is located on the completely unique island of Espevær outside Bømlo. Have you never been there - is it perhaps time to take a trip?

Through good tastes, good company and storytelling, we will be lifted out of everyday life.

Private small company?

At Haaheim gaard, we arrange large and small parties and events for both private individuals and companies. Whether you want to have a big party in the restaurant or the party hall - a coffee break with the family - or perhaps a brainstorming session with colleagues in the Veksthuset; we listen and make proposals for your event with exciting premises.

Welcome with all the senses!

Householder Torstein and gardener Ingrid want the garden to be both useful and enjoyable. Here you should be able to walk in peace and dream away - or you can join the guided garden walk, which is set up at regular intervals. At Haaheim, I am happy to grow edible vegetables, something that is visible both on the plate, in the garden and in the greenhouse. Here there are greenhouses and pallet racks full of unused vegetables.
