The passion for good flavors and artisanal food has been with me all my life. As a little boy, I often stood on a stool and helped the neighbor's wife make snop. The kitchen was filled with the scent of chocolate, mint, licorice and vanilla. I was ready to try; a little more vanilla and licorice could often be the verdict.
In 2021 I got my own chocolate factory in our trading town, EH Vaage. There we hand dip our confections and fill them with great flavors from natural ingredients.
The confectionery is dipped in Belgian chocolate produced by Callebaut. For generations, they have used the best raw materials on the market to achieve high quality, with a distinct and rich chocolate aroma. Callebaut is environmentally certified and runs its own programme, Cocoa Horizons, for the environment and sustainability.
Resilience is important to us. The packaging you are holding is made from stalks and leaves from td rice production which would otherwise have gone brown. We are involved and support farmers in developing countries to earn a living. The packaging was developed and produced by PaperWise, and is climate neutral.
